What are you dreaming of for Christmas, 2016?

Depression era quilts are my favorite. Maybe it is because I slept beneath them as a child, or because my beloved Grandmother shared her own story with me, about raising a family on a small, Missouri farm during the depression. One of the most memorable stories she told me, was about feed sacks.   You can read about our family's story here: Feedsacks and the Depression Era

Our Vintageblessings store is stocked with the beautiful quilts from this era. Highly collectible, wonderfully American.

Timeless, early 1800's block print. You just cannot emulate the real thing!

Today has been so gorgeous, I couldn't help but to peruse thru the antique french fabrics that are waiting on me to put up for sale....perhaps I cannot part with them? I just don't know, as I have been procrastinating (which is just not me!)

So, I started a new board on pinterest, called "The French Chateau" and am showing a lot of what we already have in our shops, as well as peaks of goodies to come... I hope that you will visit, and enjoy an hour or two in the countryside of France!
