A Christmas to Remember!

The leaves have fallen and the forecast says SNOW! We will be warming up to a blazing fire and mugs of apple cider, while we decorate our homes with wonderful pieces of the past.

Imagine Christmas when this quilt was made in 1856....before the country was torn in two by the Civil War.

Homemade gifts were made, including quilts, laces, wood boxes to hold your treasures and handmade linens to delight you.

This year, we have a nice collection of antique dolls from the 1800's, wonderful quilts dating 1800s to 1950's. Laces, Linens, and Christening dresses for that special day.

Come see what VintageBlessings is up to!

Just Returned From An Excellent Buying Adventure!

Chuck and I are exhausted but giddy, we found quite a few treasures and will be listing them on ebay, etsy and of course, our website. Here is an 1880's turkey calico red schoolhouse quilt, crib or wall size, perfect for decorating. It is on the website, so check it out!

As well as antique quilts, quilt tops and quilt blocks, we found needlepoint, victorian and edwardian dresses, samplers, early fabrics, feedsacks, and extraordinary french laces.

We hope you will check us often!

Buying Trip Coming Soon!

Getting ready to go on a major buying trip -- this time I am meeting with an antique fabric collector who is ready to part with their collection. We look forward to bringing you some great 1800's fabrics. We will also be buying quilts and fine linens from an estate that we have been invited to--so stay tuned! Christmas is around the corner, and fall is in the air!
